• So it's a holiday today but it doesnt feel like it. Got quite a bit of work to do/catch up on....sigh...
• Yesterday was the rehersal for the scholarship certificate presentation and guess what?!!?! I'm the first person in line so I could be the first to mess up especially because we don't know whether the guest of honour will want to shake hands first or hand me the certificate....I guess it's just up to luck. BTW the guest of honour's name is Raymond Lim....ironic huh?? This ceremony is bringing bad memories of MS prize presentations....at least it won't be as long (according to the coordinater yesterday the speech should only be about 5 minutes long!!! hey that's what I like: KISS- keep is short and simple). Also they picked me to be 1 of 6 scholars to meet the press...walau eh...like so embarassing eh...If they ask me a question and I screw-up bad....sigh... Have to prepare answers then....

• Today was the day I finally got my laptop. In actual fact I still wouldnt have it if I wasnt so danged annoyed that I didnt have it yet. What I mean is that they said they'll would email me when to pick up my laptop. The other day a friend, Chin Yang if I'm not mistaken (hope thats the way to spell you're name man), asked me whether I got my laptop already coz he got his already. He got his one week ago. So I went to the notebook centre to ask about my laptop and the lady told me that it was already ready for collection. The problem was that I had changed my model and my order was set aside and apparently that was why I didnt get my email!!! But, man, c'mon.... they should have still emailed me. If I hadnt wanted my laptop so badly I wouldnt have gone there today to discover my laptop ready for me. I could be waiting since who knows when!?!?!?! sigh.... (more NUS complaints listed below)
• Today was also the day they were supposed to sell the Engineering modules' lecture notes. It was postponed from last Wednesday to last Friday to today. Pathetic admin.... worse than Brunei apparently.... And even today I went to the place where we were supposed to buy them (I admint I was a bit late due to my euphoria over my laptop....hehe) about 1.5 hours after they started and guess what I found out- they were sold out.... what the heck man!!!!
• The other day we have to line up to register our tutorials. It was on a first come first serve basis and involved all engineering students. We had to personally see the person to register. So we went a bit late (half an hour maybe) and we get to see a line so long that I was just "sigh!!!!!......". so we went away for an hour and came back. It was a bit shorter so we just lined up. Waited 2.5 hours just to get to the door that we were supposed to enter. 2 and a freeeeekin half hours!!!!! What a lousy system. Last year, apparently, students were assigned their tutorial groups.... Why couldn't they stick with that???? Dunno eh.... sigh....
• Too lazy to type some more. Need to play CS 1.5 hehe.... Love the 'net connection here.... hehe... cya ppl

  Waiting for my laptop. Placed the order already, now waiting for them to tell me to pick it up.... CS withdrawal symptoms and the rise..... normal motor functions inhibited.... need CS..... doink!!!

• Finally in Singapore and so far its just one big mess after another.
  I applied to NUS directly and got a place in PGP Residences for a single room but when I arrived in NUS with the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Singapore I found out that they assign me a room in Eusoff Hall for a double room. What the heck man!!!! Apparently the MFA didn't get the email my mom sent out saying that I had applied for a place in PGP. So at first tried to sort things out and found out that I had to stay in Eusoff hall possibly a single room. So I go and check with the office in Eusoff hall and what do they tell me?? 'No single rooms available'!!!!! sigh.... So, after thinking that there was no longer any chance to get another room I start cleaning up the place even though most of its clean thanks to my ex-roomate Lim Kok Seng of Malaysia doing Economics for the 2nd year. Yup thats right I said 'ex-roomate', let me get to that. So after cleaning my room I started to get settled in buying more stuff and settling down. So then my mom starts doing some calling and guess what?? They reinstated my room in PGP so I had to pack everything up and move to PGP. That happened today and right now I'm in my bro's rooms (air conditioned, sigh..... mines type C: standard, no air con, no bathroom attached). And thats not even everything.
• Hall orientation was a drag with a few high points. Made a lot of friends, a few of them resembling friends that I already know. There's

  5. KK (can't remember what that stands for) = Sonia (eventhough KK's a guy, his face reminds me so much of Sonia, not joking.)
  An On Hung Zheng and Andrew Yong combo equivalent is probably impossible and haven't found anyone like them.
  A Nihs Aihc HoK equivalent is highly doubted, don't think many ppl can like that MC that much. hahaha :-)
• The dragon boat racing and the 2 day campout at Sentosa were great though. Dragon boat racing is soooo cool man!!!! Sentosa was great except for the stupid games we played. The frisbee games, where we were meant to throw the frisbee. wat else would u do with a frisbee right??? wrong!!! it was supposed to be touch frisbee. Basically throw frissbee to teamate and when u have the frisbee u can't move and the next person should be 3 feet away. So what happens... my teamates hand, thats right h-a-n-d, hand the frisbee to one another while getting in the face of opponents who have the frisbee. Then my teamate shouts/ asks/ or something like that for me to be more aggresive. Aggressive?!?!?! It's touch frisbee for goodness sake. Not only that but whenever an opponent has the frisbee they would grab it from whoever it is: be it a guy or girl or that girl who would scream at the top of her lungs if anybody tried to grab the frisbee. Pathetic man, pa-the-tic.... There were NTU students there as well, there games seemed much more interesting than ours....lucky ppl...
• Should be getting my laptop and mobile soon so watch this space ppl for the details.
• My counter doesn't seem to be working too well. I looked at the stats and it shows at least 12 hits, yet it only show 3 to me....dunno eh....sigh...
